San Francisco Cable Cars

San Francisco Cable Cars

Since their introduction in 1873, cable cars have been an icon of the industrious San Fran spirit. The cars were designed to more easily navigate the city’s infamously steep slopes. Today, the cable cars still run 7 days a week from 6:30 a.m. until 12:30 a.m. But more than a mode of transportation, these cars are a popular way to experience a bit of the past and see the beauty of the city.
